Interior designer, educator, and founder of Interiors + Ko - where design isn’t simply created, it’s understood.

I’ve spent close to two decades working inside homes and alongside the building process: on sites, in renovation meetings, and in the moments where inspiration has to become a real decision. Over time, one thing becomes obvious: good design is rarely about having “better taste”. It is about having a clear method.

Most people don’t struggle because they lack style. They struggle because they’ve never been shown how to organise decisions, set priorities, and plan a home around real life - not a highlight reel.

That gap is what Interiors + Ko exists to close.

This is not positioned as a traditional design service. It is design education: the frameworks designers use, the decision sequence that prevents pressure later, and the practical thinking that turns a home into something that functions beautifully as well as looks considered.

Interiors + Ko is built on a simple principle: planning well changes everything.

A home can be visually beautiful and still feel frustrating to live in. When routines don’t fit the layout, when storage is assumed instead of designed, when flow is an afterthought - daily life becomes harder than it needs to be. Functional planning is what makes beauty last, because it holds up under real use.

I’ve worked with homeowners who believed they were making strong design choices, yet ended up with homes that created friction: kitchens that didn’t flow, storage that disappeared the moment they moved in, and layouts that looked fine on paper but didn’t reflect the way their household actually operates. Not because they weren’t capable - but because they weren’t given a professional way to think through the decisions.

Interiors + Ko is designed to give you that thinking, early - before money is spent in the wrong places, before plans are locked in, and before decisions begin to feel urgent.

This is where clarity replaces overwhelm, and where confidence becomes practical rather than aspirational.
I came to this work through lived experience in the industry - the kind you only get by being close to the process, repeatedly, over time.

For years, I worked with projects already in motion: builds without a clear decision order, renovations where function had been assumed rather than resolved, and homes where the same issues appeared again and again - not because the people were careless, but because the process had no structure.

It became clear that most people weren’t failing at design. They were failing at sequence. They were being asked to make complex decisions without a framework, relying on instinct in a context that demands clarity.

So I began translating the frameworks I use privately in design work into tools, courses and guided resources - practical education that allows people to plan their home with the same decision logic a designer would use, before the confusion starts.

When the process is clear, the outcome is calmer. The home becomes more functional, more personal, and far easier to live in.

My hope is not simply that you create a beautiful home.
It is that you create a home that supports your routines, feels intentional, reduces friction, and removes the second-guessing that so often follows big decisions. A home that reflects the way you live - and makes that life easier.

Design is a discipline. It can be learned. And it becomes far less overwhelming when you’re no longer guessing.

If you’ve felt uncertain where to begin, weighed down by the volume of choices, or frustrated by how much you’re expected to decide without guidance, you’re in the right place.

Clarity begins here.
Confidence is built here.
A home that works as it should begins here
